1. Dormitory in the VSTE campus
VSTE students travelling to school for long distances have the possibility to use the dormitory in the VSTE Okružní campus. Nowadays, it offers accommodation for 54 students.
The dormitory is situated in Building D, on the 5th and 6th floors. On the ground floor of the building, there is a reception desk, seatings and two vending machines.
On each floor, there is a corridor from which it is possible to enter the small hall of a double suite. There are wardrobes there. Both rooms are double bedrooms sharing one bathroom and toilette. Each room is equipped with desks and chairs, wardrobes and beds. The students are allowed to have their own radio and computer with a free Wi-fi.
There is also a kitchen with the basic equipment for cooking and heating up or cooling food or drinks: a kitchen unit, cooker, fridge, microwave oven, electric kettle, dishes.
The night rest time is from 22.00 to 6.00. Room and bathrooms cleaning is ensured by the students themselves. At the reception desk, the students can pick up their letters and incoming mail. The students receive information via many notice boards, emails, or notice board in the VSTE Information system. Bed linen change is possible once a week (at a specified time). Visitors are allowed to enter only upon communication with the receptionists, between 6:00 and 22:00.
Price of accommodation is 2,840 CZK/month
This price must be paid no later than on the last day of the previous month.
The accommodation refundable deposit is 5,680 CZK. The deposit is refunded upon termination of accommodation, if the room is in good order. In case of damaged room or equipment, the deposit will be refunded reduced by the damage caused.

2. Educo dormitory
There are 90 beds and appropriate equipment for university students. Each suite consists of 3 or 2 rooms with shared bathroom, kitchen with kitchen unit, fridge, dishes… Educo dormitory offers accommodation for couples, flats for groups of students or individuals. There is also free parking place. In the building there are also study rooms and a gym. The cleaning of common parts is ensured.
The school is situated in the Štítného street in the town centre. The dormitory (block of flats) is situated in newly reconstructed buildings, where there is also a school, a car park and a garden.
Prices:
- 1,990,– CZK/month in four-bed rooms,
- 2,390,– CZK/month in three-bed rooms,
- 2,590,– CZK/month in double bedrooms,
- 2,730,– CZK/month in single rooms with shared bathroom
The rent must be paid no later than on the 15th day of the month, in advance. Upon arrival, the rent for the first month and the deposit of 2,000 CZK (a damage deposit) is paid. At the end of the stay, the deposit is refunded.
The price of the accommodation includes cleaning of common parts, electricity and water, insurance, waste collection, TV connection, using study rooms, all common spaces of the complex including the garden, car park (according to its capacity), etc.

3. Ubytovna u nádraží (Hostel at the railway station)
It offers special types of rooms and special prices of accommodation for students.
From 2,400 CZK / month.
The hostel is situated in the centre of České Budějovice, opposite the Mercury Shopping centre (bus station, shopping mall, about 100 m from the railway station).
WiFi internet
The guests have free wireless internet access at their disposal.
On each floor, there is a small kitchen the students can use for free during the whole stay. The kitchens are fully furnished, including necessary electrical appliances.
All rooms are suite type, with two rooms sharing the bathroom and toilet.
