Recognition of foreign studies or degrees

Types of recognitions

  • Recognition of Highschool education (Highschool diploma)
  • Recognition of Undergraduate degree

Steps fot he Recognition of Undegraduate degree

  1. Get transcript of records from all years of study – need to include hours of lessons and received grades
  2. Transcript and Diploma need to be official verify – make and offcialy verify copy *
  3. All the documents need to be translated to the czech language, by official translator
  4. Fill application for Recognition of Highschool education
  5. File all the documents at Regional Office in České Budějovice (for this step, applicant need to have a permit of stay in South Bohemia region (in Czech Republic)
  6. Payment of fee – 1 000 CZK

 

*Students who has finished their studies in one of the country listed here has to have Apostila at all their documents

Students who has finsihed their studies in one of the country listed here -> has to have a Superlegalization

  • If the content and scope of education at a foreign school are similar, the regional authority decides to recognize the validity of the foreign certificate in the Czech Republic and issues a nostrification clause.
  • If the content and scope of education at a foreign school differs in part, the regional authority will order the applicant to pass a nostrification examination.

Steps fot he Recognition of Undegraduate degree

  1. Choose a University with same acredited field of your study
  2. Fill out the application for recognition of achived education here
  3. Make officialy verified copy of your Diploma or professional proof of completion of studies *
  4. Make officialy verified copy of Diploma Supplemen – Transcript of Academic records *
  5. Documents have to be in English or Czech language – if not, they need to be translated by an offcial translator
  6. Payment of fee – 3 000 CZK
